Sting’s World Tour & New Album
Sting is gearing up for his forthcoming world tour in support of his latest record, Symphonicities. The announcement was paired with an intimate performance held at the infamous Abbey Road Studios.
The Abbey Road performance featured five songs spanning Sting’s whole career, and have been rearranged for orchestral play. The performance was accompanied by The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, who will be joining Sting out on the road.
Sting first became interested in working with orchestras back in 2008 when he was invited to perform with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He then had the opportunity to also play with Philadelphia Orchestra.
